In 2009, God put a desire in Matt’s heart to start an Outdoor Ministry here in Florida. In that same year, he met Wade Kendrick, Clark Dailey and Mark Tribble of CrossHeirs Ministry in Dublin, Ga.

  Combining two of his passions together, (Jesus Christ and bow hunting) along with the moving of the Holy Spirit and God’s perfect timing, CrossHeirs Outdoor Ministries was developed here in Florida.     Matt was born and raised in Central Florida, hunting the flat pines and cypress swamps and fishing its many bodies of water.  As years progressed, he has been blessed to live out his passion of the outdoors to bowhunt throughout the Southeast, Ohio, Texas, Colorado, and New Mexico.

    Matt graduated from Clermont High School, where he met his wife of 18 years, Amie. He and Amie have a daughter, Haylie, and a son, Clint. They worship and serve the Lord at Clermont Baptist Church. They have really deepened their relationship and walk with the Lord there through Bible study classes and leading the Men’s Ministry.
